Have you also noticed the frenzy when everyone is traveling to exotic Thailand in recent years? Because I do and so I chose to try this Asian country. For my journey of knowledge, I chose a trip to Bangkok, Krabi. After arriving in Bangkok, the BUBO guide will be waiting for you in the arrivals hall, who is your available throughout the tour. The guide will advise you on the best place to exchange money for the domestic currency baht. In Thailand, you can also pay with VISA and MasterCard, but cash is always safer.
BUBO recommends pocket money of at least EUR 300. You will spend on food, souvenirs, or various gift items. However, the amount of money depends on personal consumption.
The cheapest street food in Bangkok costs 30 baht. A quality meal at the best restaurant in Krabi costs 300-500 baht, but it's really worth it. You can usually eat for two hundred. Tropical fruit is cheap: coconut, or fresh pineapple costs 20 baht in Thailand.
The first place we will visit on the tour is Bangkok.
Bangkok - the city of angels, will definitely impress you right away. It is the capital of Thailand, which contains many temples, palaces and generally the most famous monuments of Thailand.
The flight will arrive in Bangkok around 1 pm local time. After collecting the luggage, we will be transferred to our hotel by bus in the company of the BUBO guide. During the transfer, which takes approximately one hour (the hotel is 17 km from the airport), you get to know the guide, the tour content and enjoy first moments in Bangkok. At approximately 16.00, the bus stops in front of the hotel. Accommodation in Bangkok is provided in the basic hotel - ROYAL, which is located near the most famous street, Khao San Road, the atmosphere of which we all know from the famous movie The Beach starring Leonardo DiCaprio. The hotel has a very good location, as it is the closest hotel to the Royal Palace (only 300 meters from the hotel) and close to the sights that will be visited during the tour. A small point of interest: once the ROYAL hotel was owned by the royal family. A big plus of the hotel is the aforementioned excellent location, so we are always in the center of the action.
There are approximately two hours available with, gaining new strength and at 18.30 the first joint dinner will be held, where you will taste the typical Thai dish PAD THAJ - fried noodles in the hotel's restaurant. After dinner, CALYPSO travestishow is on the program, and after it ends, those interested can also participate in the women's circus - PAT PONG. On the way to the hotel, you ride tuktuks and enjoy the city at night.
The second day of the tour starts with breakfast around 7:00 a.m. and is followed by a departure to the floating markets, which are approximately 100 km from Bangkok. Cruise along the canals on fast motorboats. Vendors offer fried bananas, coconuts, mangoes, or dried exotic spices directly from the boats. the atmosphere of a traditional Thai market. You swim all the way to the famous Kwai Bridge. Here you will have an exotic lunch with a view of the bridge and the river. After lunch, the highest Buddhist building, Nakhon Pathom, is on the agenda. In the early evening, return to Bangkok and space for an individual program. For those interested, the opportunity to sit with a good drink in the jazz bar.
On the penultimate day, a full-day trip to AYUTTHAYA, which was the capital of Thailand for 400 years, is on the program for those interested. Walking among the remains of the royal city, ruins of temples and pagodas will leave you with a completely different experience. AYUTTHAYA is rightfully called the most beautiful monument in Thailand. Departure from the hotel is after breakfast 8:00 a.m. and lasts until approximately 5:00 p.m. In the evening, there is an individual program and we can end the day with dinner on the roof of the BAYOK hotel, where you have the panorama of night Bangkok in the palm of your hand. Those who do not participate in the optional AYUTTHAYA trip during this day will have a tour of modern Bangkok, Chinatown, or Lumpini Park.
The last day includes a tour of three monuments: the Royal Palace, Wat Pho and Wat Arun.
On this day there is a transfer from Bangkok to Krabi. The price of the tour includes a bus transfer from Bangkok around 21.00. An air-conditioned, comfortable bus with folding seats is available. The bus is friendly During the bus journey, we have a hygiene stop and a longer night transfer, which lasts approximately 12 hours. The advantage of this transfer is a free afternoon program in Bangkok and therefore a longer time spent in the city. For more demanding clients, there is an option to pay extra for a Bangkok-Krabi flight. In this case, clients leave for the airport at 14.00 and depart from Bangkok. The flight takes approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes, and the expected arrival in Krabi is at 17.00 in the early evening. The advantage of the flight is a faster transfer, greater comfort, and one extra night in Krabi, but it also has a minus, which is the loss of a few hours that clients who do not have this flight will spend on an individual program in Bangkok. In the morning at approximately 9.00 stops in front of the basic hotel J Mansion in Krabi.
Krabi is known as the place with the most beautiful beaches in Thailand.
Accommodation in the basic hotel J Mansion (which BUBO offers in the basic price of the tour) is a family guesthouse with very basic facilities, but on the other hand, with an excellent attitude of the owners of the guesthouse, who always help you towards. Accommodation is without meals, but breakfast can be ordered directly in the guesthouse for approx. 2 euros per person. The guesthouse is only a 2-minute walk from the beach and there are various shops and alleys nearby, so you have somewhere to walk during warm evenings. we recommend it to young people who do not indulge in any luxury and spend a minimum of time in the hotel. (for those who go on a tour to explore the country and not the J hotel).
For more demanding clients, we definitely recommend accommodation in a 4* hotel (from our point of view it is more like a 3*) - TIPA RESORT. Accommodation is in the form of bungalows. It is very nice, clean and the price of the hotel includes breakfast. The resort is located in the middle of the jungle in beautiful nature and the entire resort is surrounded by massive palm trees. The resort is located 200 meters from the base hotel and 200 meters from the beach.
BUBO also offers the 5* hotel NAKAMANDA RESORT. It is a luxurious, very nice hotel, with clients are extremely satisfied! You will find large rooms, highly trained staff and the hotel restaurants offer a wide range of food at good prices.. One minus is the distance because NAKAMANDA RESORT is 17 km from the town of Aonang where the basic hotel is located and therefore the shops are also in the town of Aonang. The price includes one transfer to the town of Aonang. Clients staying in this particular 5* hotel have a perfect rest in a wonderful hotel by a beautiful beach.
During your stay in Krabi, a few trips are prepared for you. You start right on the day you arrive in Krabi. On the first day of the tour, just after arriving in Krabi, a drive is planned elephants (this trip is included in the tour price). There is an individual program in the afternoon until the evening.
On the second day, a trip to the islands in the Andaman Sea is planned. You will visit the beaches of Phranang, the small island of Tup and Chicken and relax on the beautiful beach of Poda Island. On the third day, there is an optional excursion on the program during which the islands of Veľké and Malé PHI, PHI will be visited. We will also visit the famous beach, made famous by the movie The Beach with Leonardo DiCaprio. You will also stop at the sea where there will be space for snorkeling. Expected return is at 16.00 and an individual program follows. Those who are not interested in this optional trip have a full-day individual program.
Fourth day - individual kayak trip. The trip lasts approximately 5 hours and many clients consider it the best experience on this tour! Two-hour paddling in the mangrove forests will bring you an unforgettable BUBO experience!
Every day during the relaxation part at KRABI, a trip is prepared for you, which will not take you all day, so you still have plenty of free time for an individual program. Clients who are not interested in optional trips relax all day on the beach.
The last day of the tour is in the morning program and in the afternoon there is a transfer to the airport and flight home. Flight from Krabi to Bangkok and then from Bangkok to Vienna Schwechat airport. Upon arrival in Vienna, a BUBO transfer will be waiting to take you to Bratislava.
