Code of Ethics of VEGUM a.s.

VEGUM a.s. since its establishment in 1952, has focused on the production of rubber compounds, the production of pressed and printed products, as well as the development, production and sale of rubber compounds, pressed and printed products from technical rubber. We win the trust of our customers through reliability and quality. Ethical behavior and the good name of the company during the long-term operation of the company on the market are of key importance.

Human rights and national laws

To observe international human rights in the Charter of Human Rights), as well as compliance with legal requirements in the countries where we operate is a matter of course for us.

Discrimination and respect

In accordance with applicable laws, we create appropriate working conditions, while we place great emphasis on compliance with working hours and adequate remuneration for work performed.

Fight against corruption

VEGUM a.s. rejects corruption and bribery. We comply with applicable anti-corruption laws and regulations. We strictly separate company and private interests when dealing with business partners and state authorities. We make decisions based on objective knowledge.

Company management and employees must not offer gifts, bribes, invitations or services to existing or potential business partners. No one may request or accept such benefits if it could lead to a conflict of interest in business transactions. Also if it is a question of exceeding the boundaries of normal hospitality or a contradiction with the applicable law.

Protection of economic competition and protection of creditors

The company respects good manners and the rules of economic competition. The company respects the regulatory laws relations and does not damage the reputation of competitors.

VEGUM a.s. board members and the supervisory board are obliged to inform the bodies of which they are members about their business, family or other relationships outside the company that could influence their decision-making in connection with a specific transaction.

Any oral agreements and provision of information to third parties about prices and other internal data that determine or may affect the company's position on the market are prohibited.

The company bodies, including TOP managers, undertake not to favor any creditors.

All employees are required to comply with applicable data protection laws and regulations. Confidential information and materials must not be made available to third parties without authorization. We protect our know-how because it is a decisive factor on the way to the success of VEGUM a.s.

Employees and suppliers

VEGUM a.s. acquaints its employees with the content of the Code of Ethics and the obligations arising from it. We will ensure their compliance with appropriate measures.

From our suppliers that they will follow us in following this code. This Code of Ethics is valid for all employees of VEGUM a.s.

We declare that our goal is to work on higher satisfaction of our customers with top quality. To ensure it, we decided for permanent improvement of processes and their documentation within the integrated management system.

We offer our customers products and services with high utility value andtop style="text-align: justify;">In order to achieve top quality of our processes and services, we are committed to consistently implementing an integrated management system in the sense of IATF 16949 and quality management ISO 9001, environmental management standards ISO 14001, energy management standards ISO 50001 and occupational health and safety standards OHSAS 18001 .

Our employees are an important factor and guarantor of top quality. Reducing errors starts with each individual. Targeted training and further education are therefore our highest priority.
