New visual identity
When we think about what characterizes us, it is mainly our vineyards Suchý vrch, Noviny, Kramáre, Kalvária, Ingle, Šajby, Nad Polankou... 60 hectares of our vineyards with imprints of constant honest work. Pointing to the terroir, we wanted to show our face in a lively and open way. In cooperation with the GOAT studio, we managed to transfer these ideas into a visual form. The first thing that demonstrates our identity is our new box with the imprint of our vineyards.
Graphic artist Miro Kozel says about this new design:
"We were looking for a way to appropriately combine the traditional analog approach with the digital one. We came up with the idea to recycle almost 400 corks from KARPATSKÉ PERLA wine bottles. Using the classic technique of transferring color to paper by pressing, we obtained more than 800 unique cork prints. We also involved the Šebov family in the entire creative process, who thus became part of the creation of their new visual language. We organized a workshop where everyone had the opportunity to create their own authentic prints.
We then digitized and shaped them according to the floor plans of the individual vineyards, which we used as templates for creating graphics. Using this technique, we created modular patterns that became the basic and connecting element of the brand's new visual identity. Themes can be combined with each other and are designed to be functional for a variety of applications from pencils, business cards, t-shirts, boxes, printed materials, large format printing to digital media.
The new visual identity works with a template grid system of layouts, which in combination with the selected font, photos, graphics, materials and colors form a complete functional system. This concept is playful, malleable, responsive to surrounding content. However, the important thing is that it comes directly from the DNA of the Carpathian pearl."
