An easy day trip through the beautiful landscape of the Western Carpathians. In the mountain village of Čičmany we will discover traditional wooden architecture, costumes, a museum as well as beautiful nature (visit to the museum and souvenir shop). Next, we will go through the Rajecka Valley and visit a unique Slovak site - a huge wooden nativity scene. For lunch, we will visit the unique Rajecké Teplice spa (a tour of spa facilities and a park with a lake). Lunch break in a typical Slovak restaurant (1 hour). Finally, we will visit the historic center of Žilina or the water castle in Budatín with an exhibition of tinsmithing. Entrance fees to the museum and lunch are paid by the participants themselves.
