Archives in the archive

We would like to invite you to a tasting Archive in the archive, which will take place on 20. February at 18:00 in KARPATSKA PERLA. This time, Laco Šebo decided to leave the selection of wines up to you. HERE you can choose 10 wines you would like to taste until February 16. We will present the wines to you directly in our archive, where not only the previous president but also the current president Zuzana Čaputová spent time in 2019.

The tasting will be conducted vertically according to which 10 wines get the most preferences. You can also look forward to an excellent menu from chef Marián Harcinik. You will also learn about our archive, its original use in the NuPOD cooperative, and see its current form.

We would like to quote a few words from Matúš Dulla, who in the article Year 2019 from the perspective of an architect expressed his opinion on the question "What interested you most in the field of architecture in Slovakia (in the Central European area) in 2019" : "I was charmed by how culturedly and inventively the former concrete wine tanks, covered with deposits of wine stone, were turned into a wine archive in the Carpathian Pearl. Architects like to call for an enlightened client, but sometimes such a client doesn't even need an architect - like the Šebovci couple in Šenkvice."
