Lom nad Rimavicou is the highest village in Slovakia

Recreational facility that stands right in the heart of the picturesque mountain village Lom nad Rimavicou, which with an altitude of 1024 meters above sea level is also the highest a municipality located in Slovakia. The village is located between two Vepras Klenovský (1338 m) and Ľubietovský (1277 m) in the western part of the Slovak Rudohory on the Sihlianske plain of Veporské vrchov, from where comes from the local name of the local residents Vrcár, after whom the Vrcár Guesthouse is also named.
