Sport in Piešťany
Piešťany offers its residents and visitors a number of sports facilities: golf, tennis, volleyball, squash courts, Diplomat Arena basketball hall, go-kart hall, winter and football stadium, bowling, horse riding, indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Water sports such as canoeing, rowing and yachting can be practiced on Lake Sĺňava (Lodenica, water ski lift on Ratnovská bay). Piešťany is located on the Vážská cycle highway, and cycle paths have been built in the city - around the Dubová stream and around the Sĺňava lake, which are also suitable for inline skaters. There are also several fitness centers, playgrounds and campsites in the city. There are also many marked hiking trails in the vicinity. Not far from Piešťany is the recreation center Bezovec with pistes with artificial snow.
