1-day trip Spiš Castle + Levoča (UNESCO)
The road will take us under the Strečno and Low Tatras along the highway to Levoča. We will visit a region whose development was influenced by the Spiš Germans. At the beginning, we will be amazed by the majestic Spiš Castle (UNESCO). After visiting the exhibition at the castle, we will move to Levoča (UNESCO) and stop for local specialties on the way. Behind the well-preserved city walls is the Church of St. Jakub with the largest Gothic altar in the world. It was made by master Pavol in 1517, who also has a museum opposite the cathedral with his rare works. The square is dominated by the Renaissance town hall from 1550 with an exhibition (tour). After a walking tour of the city, we will go home under the peaks of the High Tatras.
