Dunaj ´17 Château Rúbaň
Classification: Quality wine with the attribute selection from grapes, wine with protected designation of origin, red, dry
Variety: Danube
Taste and sensory characteristics: Wine of a rich, dark red color with a purple-violet edge, with a ripe fruit aroma dominated by tones of plums, ripe gypsy cherry , sloe jam, plum gingerbread and freshly ground cocoa beans. The taste is pleasantly velvety, well structured, with sweet ripe tannins and a slightly chocolate-vanillin character. The aftertaste of the wine is long, balanced and warm.
Recommendation for food: it is an ideal partner for bolder dishes made from beef, whole roast beef and game, as well as meats grilled in the open air fire. It combines very well with heavier natural sauces, as well as spicy dressings. The wine really stands out in combination with maturing Parmesan-type cow cheeses and smoked cheeses.
