Description of the coin

In the inner part of the coin are the outlines of four states of Central Europe - the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia. Overlaying the outlines is the compound letter "V" denoting the Vyšehrad Group, an alliance also known as the "Vyšehrad Four" or "V4". The group was founded after the summit of the heads of state or prime ministers of Czechoslovakia, Hungary and Poland in the Hungarian city of Visegrád on February 15, 1991, mainly in the interest of cooperation in areas of common interest within the process of European integration.
