Silver investment collector coin in the value of 10 euros for the 10th anniversary of the introduction of the euro in the Slovak Republic

The Slovak Republic adopted the euro on January 1, 2009 and became the sixteenth member country of the eurozone. The introduction of the euro completed the full integration of the country, which began in 2004 with the entry into the European Union and then in 2007 into the Schengen area. The aforementioned steps in integration have brought Slovakia and its inhabitants a number of benefits, especially the free movement of people, goods, services and capital. The euro is perceived as a stable currency, its use makes trade between countries easier and cheaper, provides an immediate overview of prices and attracts new foreign investors. At the same time, it allows residents to travel to the countries of the euro zone and to several other European countries without the need to exchange national currencies. The euro currency currently consists of seven banknotes and eight coins. Euro banknotes are the same in all countries. Euro coins have one side common and the other national with their own motifs of the individual countries of the eurozone.

Obverse:

On the obverse of the coin, parts of the national sides of Slovakian circulation euro coins are depicted with all three used motifs - a double cross on a triple peak, Bratislava Castle and the Tatras peak Kriváň. The national coat of arms of the Slovak Republic is in the left part of the coin field. The name of the state SLOVAKIA is in the description on the right edge of the coin. The designation of the nominal value of the 10 EURO coin is in the lower part of the coin field. Beneath it is the year 2019. Mark of Mint Kremnica MK and the stylized initials of the author of the coin's design, akad. sculpture. Zbyňka Fojtů ZF are above the state emblem of the Slovak Republic.

Reverse side:

The reverse of the coin shows a map of the Slovak Republic in a composition with the euro sign. In the upper part of the coin field is the date of the introduction of the euro in the Slovak Republic 1/1/2009. In the description is the inscription INTRODUCING THE EURO IN THE SLOVAK REPUBLIC.
